After playing, teaching and coaching tennis for decades I took ONE pickleball lesson. On returning home I told my wife, "I'm done with tennis!" / April 4, 2022 was the first time I touched a pickleball. / We built a pickleball court on our property last summer, and "Ding!" we became really popular!
The Google Map pin is in Colorado Springs ... I'm not there, but it is the closest big city to me.
